Unvented cylinders
Unvented cylinders all operate on the principle of your cold water main providing the pressure directly to the hot taps, via the cylinder. They are all equipped with safety devices and generally require a large water main coming into the property if they are to feed more than one bathroom. Trapped air allows the hot water to expand and does away with the cold water tank in the roofspace. This makes them very useful to free up space when undertaking loft conversions.
All makes are available with twin coils for solar heating. We offer three brands which each have their own advantages although the actual hot water performance (pressure and flow) is virtually identical across all makes (they are all in principle just an empty storage container). |
